It was a great September day and the day became memorable because of wonderful wedding of Chris and Gladys. I really enjoyed this wedding not only because of the couple friendly personalities but also I know a few folks that I have done weddings of in the past. It was a wonderful reunion of 4 of my pervious client couples. The wedding ceremony service was provided by the Metropolitan United Church in Toronto at Church st. and Queen st. After the ceremony we were requested to take some family portraits on the grounds of the church. The formal wedding party photography was done at Osgoode Hall in Toronto. The wedding reception was hosted by the beautiful Arcadian Court. Please view Chris and Gladys wedding photography slideshow
Here are few inspiring quotes by famous photographers – I think these photographers shaped this field as
“There is a vast difference between taking a picture and making a photograph.” – Robert Heinecken
This is well said as photograph far beyond a picture – would not you agree!
“Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst.” – Henri Cartier-Bresson
Considering he was shooting 35 mm film with his Leicas – its quite a few rolls to reach 10000 for an average camera users. These days everyone shoots 10000 a year so every one is a great photographer
“If you are out there shooting, things will happen for you. If you’re not out there, you’ll only hear about it.” – Jay Maisel
Not sure about that. I have been shooting for a while and nothing happened yet! May be don’t know where the out there is just kidding!
“I think all art is about control, the encounter between control and uncontrollable.” – Richard Avedon
This is beautifully said!
“If your pictures aren’t good enough, you’re not close enough” - Robert Capa
This sounds a little mysterious but I love it!
When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence - Ansel Adams
Who does not like his landscape or others from F64 group – and of course his focus and clarity was amazing!
And lastly I love this quote!
Owning a DSLR does not make you a photographer. It makes you a DSLR owner - Anonymous
To bad I don’t know who said it but I feel is so 100%
As usual I would love to invite you to visit my wedding photography Toronto website

Hi folks, this time I would like to say few words about the post production work that we do. Photo editing became really important since the introduction of digital cameras and I would argue this became equally important as capturing the image. While the editing can not replace the power of the moment it can beautifully enhance the result and help to create powerful image. You will need to start with shooting in 12/14/16 bit color (depending on the camera) raw format- I know what are you going to say – oh man, this take so many steps – shooting, downloading, colour and density correcting and than processing into 8bit jpg. Trust me its all worth while because you are able to get the dynamic rage of 14 bit that means more colour information greater highlights and shadows detail. Shooting in raw format also allows you to create imaging similar to popular HDR – instead of multiple exposure for highlights and shadows you can process a few images to get proper mid tones, highlight and shadow information. In your photo editing software you can play with different option and effect to achieve desired look. Please see some of the samples below – before and after thing and see some of the samples of photo-editing. The original images are process in a low contrast to to maintain as much highlights and shadow information as needed and edited according to my final vision.
It a great party and wonderful people! The wedding ceremony happened at St. Cnstantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, the wedding photo session at UofT – University College and reception at La Primavera. Please view Melpo and Nelson’s wedding slideshow here
It was a while since my last post, I will try to be more regular now. Vinoth and Roshika got marrid back in August last year. It was a great fun to shoot their wedding.
